Local operation
Car Glovebox works without an account and offline. Vehicle details, mileage, service records, reminders, and attached documents are stored in the app’s private space on your device.
Publisher collection
This version sends no data to AVG LLC and includes no advertising, analytics, cross-app tracking, or third-party crash reporting. It requests no access to location, contacts, microphone, or network.
Camera and notifications
Camera permission is requested only after you choose to photograph a receipt. Notification permission is requested only when you create a date reminder.
Exports and backups
You may export or share a PDF, CSV, attachment, or complete backup to a destination you control. Those files then leave Car Glovebox’s control. Backups are not encrypted and may contain personal information or receipts.
Deletion
All local data, documents, and reminders can be deleted from settings after confirmation. Copies already exported must be deleted separately from their destination.
Children
AVG LLC receives no remote data from this version of the app, including no data relating to children.
